Science and Engineering of Renewable Energy department

The department of Renewable Energy Science and Engineering at the faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, established in 2014, is multidisciplinary. The department was established to serve the national plans in Egypt, through introducing high quality post-graduate education to the graduates of Faculties of Science and Engineering. It accepts students from various backgrounds, e.g. Science, Engineering, Industrial Education, etc.

The Renewable Energy Sciences and Engineering Department comprises remarkable research staff, who were awarded their academic degrees from well reputed international universities and institutes in Europe, Asia, and North America. The department offers advanced education by specialized faculty and teaching staff in the alternative clean renewable energy fields. The department awards Diploma, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Renewable Energy Science and Engineering.

 

Vision

• Reinforcement the applications of renewable, clean energy as the alternative main source of energy indoors and outdoors in Egypt via high quality education, trainings and public awareness. 

• Encouraging the application of Renewable Energy to be a principal alternative source of energy within the different sectors (Construction, Industrial, Agriculture, etc.) in Egypt.

 

Mission

• Providing a state-of-the-art post graduate education in the field of Renewable Energy and its applications.

• Creating high-caliber researchers in the field of Renewable Energy.

• Supply the Egyptian society with high-quality specialists in Renewable Energy Sciences and Engineering.

• Building a well-equipped Renewable Energy research lab, to be a leading center of excellence in the Middle East and Africa.
